We are like one big family. Our people are our greatest asset and we treat them well. We give them the right training and support to achieve their full potential, which enables them to perform at their best. This will leave you feeling confident and able to relax and enjoy your stay with us.
Our senior team have a wealth of hands-on experience in working closely with children, teachers and schools to deliver the very best in outdoor adventure and activity experiences.

Many of our centre staff have worked for In2action in previous seasons. Whether ‘old hands’ or new to In2action, all our instructional staff are selected for an assessment period on the basis of their application form and a minimum of two references, both of which HAVE to be excellent. Staff also undergo an enhanced CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check.

All selected staff complete an intensive period of induction and assessment before their contract of employment is confirmed. We choose staff for their ability, enthusiasm, friendliness, and suitability to work with children.

Extensive training and assessment takes place once we have selected our team. This ensures they are able to deliver activities to the highest standards. All staff who instruct in an activity where there is a National Governing Body (NGB) e.g. Archery and Snorkelling, will complete the relevant NGB qualification. For all other activities, we use in-house or external technical experts to train and assess staff.

In addition to specific skills instruction, all staff complete a Health and Safety course, as well as training in pastoral care and child protection & welfare.

We provide all instructors with comprehensive Operating Procedures that set strict safety standards and guidelines for the delivering activities of the highest quality.

We hold a full list of Instructors names and qualifications at the Centre which is available to groups travelling with In2action on request.

We operate to a strict Code of Practice and our operation is subject to regular audits and inspection by external assessors.
