Do I need to attend an interview?

The first stage of the process is a short skype interview. The next stage is to be invited on a six-day assessment course, where you'll be assessed on different criteria, learn about aspects of the business, meet new people and make some fantastic new friends.

I already have a DBS check, do I need another one?

If you've signed up and paid for the new DBS Updated service we do require you to provide us with some details to carry out your check. If however you have not signed up to this service, it is In2actions policy to do an enhanced disclosure check for every member of staff who works for us and therefore we will send you a form and details of how to complete this.

How much money do I need for the assessment / training course?

Your food and accommodation are provided whilst you are in the UK, so you will just need pocket money for any additional snacks or drinks you want to buy while you are there.

I'm not very fit - will this affect my assessment?

No, whilst the assessment is active, we have no minimum fitness requirements.

I want to apply with my partner/ friend, is this possible?

All applications are welcome, but while we strive to place partners and friends together in resort, we cannot guarantee this.

When will I find out what resort I am going to?

Following successful completion of the assessment course, you will find out which resort you will be working in. We try and place people in their first choice of resort, but this is not guaranteed.

Do I bring my luggage for the season to the assessment course?

Yes, following successful completion of the 5/6 day assessment, you will move straight into a training period. After this, the majority of people will be transported to the airport directly after the training course for their flights to resort. You will get a full list of what you need to bring with you prior to your assessment course.

Can we get time off after the training course before traveling to resort?

You may receive a day off during your training but this will be dependent on your flight date to resort. This will be confirmed after your assessment course. Your flight to resort will often follow on directly from the training course.

When do I start work abroad?

Following completion of the assessment course and additional training period, we will arrange travel for all staff to travel to their allocated site. On arrival, you will be shown around and meet the rest of the team. Following this, there will be a couple of days of induction and you will start work shortly after this.

Do I need to get travel insurance?

No, In2action will provide you with comprehensive travel insurance. However, if you have very valuable items, you may wish to insure these separately.

What sort of accommodation will I be staying in?

You will share your accommodation whilst training in the UK. Once abroad, accommodation varies depending on the resort you are placed in, but it is of a good standard. You will either live in the hotel you are working in, a nearby hotel, a staff block, or alternatively in apartments close to your place of work.

Can I take time off in resort?

You are allocated a half day holiday per week plus your normal day off (1.5 days per week), enabling you to enjoy extra time off in the sun. Due to the busy nature of our business, 3 days is the maximum continuous holiday that will be allocated in resort, and this must be booked in advance.

Is there winter work available?

We have positions available over winter for those staff who wish to work all year round. Positions are limited and you will be given a chance to request winter work with your manager during the summer season. We also have links with ski companies that we can recommend if you fancy doing something different for winter.

Are there opportunities to develop my career?

Yes. Our well structured management development programme runs every year for enthusaistic and motivated staff that are keent to progress.
