UK HOLIDAY PARKS

Please find below a list of FAQ:

Do I need to attend an interview?

Rather than a standard interview, we invite successful applicants to a 5/6 day assessment course, where you're assessed on different criteria, learn insight about the business, meet new people and make some fantastic friends.

I already have a CRB check, do I need another one?

Yes, it's In2action's policy to carry out an enhanced disclosure check for every member of staff.

How much money do I need for the assessment / training course?

Your food and accommodation are provided for during your training, so you just need pocket money for any snacks or drinks you want to buy.

I am not very fit, will this affect my assessment?

No. The assessment period is active, but we have no minimum fitness requirements.

I want to apply with my partner/ friend, is this possible?

All applications are welcome, however each individual is offered a position on their own merits. Teams are usually very small and therefore this can often be a difficult request to honour, so we ask staff to be flexible in their approach.

Do I bring my luggage for the season to the assessment course?

Yes, following successful completion of the 5 / 6 day assessment, you move straight into a training period and you start work straight afterwards.

Can we get time off after training course before starting work?

You receive some days off during your training, and these will be confirmed after your assessment course. You're expected to start work straight after this.

What sort of accommodation do I stay in?

When working in the UK you are provided with sharing accommodation units that are modern, comfortable and clean.  Often they are sited at the centre you're located at but sometimes they can be a few miles away.

Can I take time off during the season?

Due to contract often being for short periods of time we don’t  allow staff to accrue paid holidays. For most staff you would be required to work 5 1/2 days per week as the other 1/2 day is accrued holiday. It's possible that some sites run differently and if this is the case, we'll let you know.

Are there opportunities to develop my career?

Yes. Our well structured management development programme runs every year for motivated and ethusiastic staff keen to progress.
