Creating understanding. Removing barriers. Building belonging.

Neurodiversity Awareness

Helping teams recognise, respond, and adapt to different ways people think, feel, and experience the world.

What do you see?

Every customer, colleague, and learner experiences the world differently. But often, we don’t see the barriers they’re facing only the behaviour we’re responding to.

Neurodiversity is not a challenge to fix. It’s a reality to understand.

What does neurodiversity mean?

Neurodiversity is the natural variation in how people think, learn, process information, and experience the world. No two people are the same and that difference is not a problem, it’s normal.

It includes conditions such as:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • ADHD
  • Dyslexia
  • Dyspraxia
  • Tourette Syndrome

What might this look like in real life?

People may experience differences in:

  • Communication
  • Sensory processing
  • Focus and attention
  • Emotional regulation
  • Processing information
  • Social interaction
  • Expressing needs or emotions

Seeing the Experience Differently

Sometimes the biggest barriers are the ones we can't see. Through realistic customers scenarios, participants explore how simple adjustments can transform someone's experience.

From providing clear information before arrival to offering quieter spaces and responding calmly during moments of overwhelm, the workshop demonstrates how understanding and flexibility help people feel safe, respected and included.

Acknowledge. Support. Reassure.

Our simple three-step approach helps teams create more inclusive experiences and build confidence in supporting every customer.

Acknowledge

Recognise that everyone experiences the world differently and be open to understanding individual needs.

Support

Remove unnecessary barriers by adapting communication, environments and experiences wherever possible.

Reassure

Create a sense of belonging by listening, avoiding assumptions and helping people feel understood rather than judged.

Removing Barriers

Participants explore practical ways to make environments more accessible, including:

Using clear, simple communication

Providing information before arrival

Allowing extra processing time

Creating quieter spaces where possible

Reducing unnecessary sensory overload

Asking questions instead of making assumptions

Building confidence through reassurance and understanding
