Safeguarding Leads
We have two designated safeguarding leads and we are committed to providing 24-hour cover through these leads. Our head office team regularly attend safeguarding training so that we can identify and create a safer organisational culture in order to effectively protect children and young people. Every person that works for In2action completes safeguarding training during their induction and refresher training as required throughout their employment.
Robust Recruitment Policies
We have a clear recruitment, induction and training strategy, and adhere to safer recruitment best practice. This includes seeking two references and a DBS check for all new staff.
All new staff complete safeguarding training during their induction and are then observed and appraised at regular intervals throughout their period of employment.
Always Ready to Listen
We actively encourage people to voice any safeguarding concerns and to never be afraid to ask for help. If anyone has concerns about anyone else’s safety or wellbeing whilst young people are in our care, we encourage openness and are ready and willing to listen – we can speak to professionals who can try and help, and/ or point them in the right direction to seek appropriate assistance.
