Whitemead Forest Park

The Forest of Dean is an ancient area of woodland which has been protected since Anglo-Saxon times when it was used as a royal hunting reserve. An excellent choice for schools who want to experience the English wilderness without travelling too far by coach, the region is easily accessible from the West country, South Wales and the West Midlands.

Overlooking glorious grounds, the accommodation consists of modern spacious apartments, all grouped together surrounding a forest. Each apartment sleeps up to 6 children, and has two bathrooms. Accompanying adults stay in single or twin rooms.

All meals are provided in our own restaurant, and the food choices provided are varied, filling and wholesome.

Facilities include:

  • Indoor swimming pool
  • Climbing tower
  • Direct access to forest reserve
  • Exclusive indoor and outdoor activity areas
  • Shop
  • Restaurant
  • Large activity field
