Lots is the same, but some things might be a bit different this year at your In2action Schools Adventure…

Our Activities. We’ve taken precautions to make sure our activities are COVID-safe. This means we might not play the games you’re used to, or you might find that our instruction looks a little different to normal, but it’s still of the highest quality. We’ll also be asking schools to remain distant from one another and to socially distance during sessions, and we’ll help by staggering arrival times and activities where we can. We’re also going to be getting outside at every opportunity – it’s great fun to be out in the fresh air!

Our staff. They’ll be wearing face coverings inside and if they can’t socially distance outside around the site, and we’ll encourage you to as well – unless you’re exempt of course! You might also only see a few of them as we limit the different numbers of staff allocated to each group. Don’t worry though, you’ll still have a dedicated Group Leader who can assist with any queries at all.

Our Dining Areas. We’ll have one-way systems in place and there might be some changes to the way you’re served. We’d love it if you could make sure you have your own drinks bottle / travel mug, for example, to use for refreshments.

Our facilities. We’ve increased our cleaning routines so you might see this taking place whilst you’re moving around site. There will be hand sanitizing / washing points all around the site and we encourage you to use them. You might also spot some one-way system signage, maximum room capacities, or reminders about social distancing – this is just to help us all out and keep us all safe. Oh, and we may well have spaced out furniture or removed items to help keep our facilities COVID-secure.

Our Accommodation. Some items might have been removed from your accommodation and we won’t enter them once you’ve arrived, unless you require a clean. We’ll be asking school groups to remain within their own units and not to share or move between them. We’ll still have some tea and coffee ready for you though! We will also be doing thorough deep cleans before and after your stay.

… and what’s exactly the same:

Fun for everyone. There is so much fun to be had on an In2action Activity Centre, and our fully trained teams are ready to welcome you all!

Learning Objectives. We’re as dedicated as ever to the importance of learning through outdoor activities, so we’ll make sure these are ticked off in our activity sessions. See here for more: https://www.in2action.co.uk/learning-objectives/
